PRESTIGE was born nearly 30 years ago with the desire to create exceptional boats, designed for exceptional customers, for those who aspire to live out their dreams.

1957

BIRTH OF THE JEANNEAU SHIPYARD, AN INSTANT SUCCESS

Henri Jeanneau, a passionate fan of powerboat racing, created the Jeanneau shipyard. From the very first lines of those early wooden boats, Jeanneau models have been distinguished by their innovative technical solutions, timeless design, and artisanal savoir-faire.

1958

A PIONEER SHIPYARD: THE FIRST HULL IN FIBREGLASS POLYESTER RESIN

The model baptised “Fibreglass Sport” was among the first boats to use fibreglass technology, a new material for the marine industry, developed by the petrochemical industry.

This tremendously successful model would be the precursor of future models…

1989

THE FIRST PRESTIGE

Jeanneau, with the perennial collaboration of Garroni Design, launched the first PRESTIGE on the market of luxury motor yachts. The PRESTIGE 41 immediately demonstrated a contemporary style and exceptional seaworthy qualities.

It was the beginning of the PRESTIGE story.

2000

LAUNCH OF THE FIRST PRESTIGE FLYBRIDGE

The PRESTIGE 36 signalled the arrival of the brand into the universe of Flybridge motor yachts. PRESTIGE also saw accelerated growth, with the opening of a new, ultra-modern, 22,000 m² production facility in Les Herbiers, France.

Today, PRESTIGE offers a complete line of flybridge and coupé motor yachts. PRESTIGE Flybridges are appreciated for their spacious storage, wide sundecks and full helm station, for fully enjoying life at sea.

2010

ENTERING THE WORLD OF LARGE YACHTS

PRESTIGE enters onto the market of large yachts with the first PRESTIGE YACHT: the PRESTIGE 60. Elegant and innovative, the PRESTIGE 60 is equipped with all-new Volvo IPS pods… a reference around the world and recognised in 2010 as European Powerboat of the Year and Croatian Powerboat of the Year. She also became a success in China, with 20 boats sold in five years.

2012

LARGEST DEALER NETWORK IN EUROPE

PRESTIGE became a key player on the international stage, benefiting from the largest dealer network on the European market. By 2017, PRESTIGE had established a truly global presence, with 4,000 owners around the world sharing the values of the brand.

2014

LAUNCH OF THE PRESTIGE 750, A 75’ MOTOR YACHT

PRESTIGE YACHTS reached another milestone with the launch of its flagship yacht: the PRESTIGE 750, built in the new production facility for large yachts in Monfalcone, Italy.

This motor yacht was designed to fully enjoy life at sea and at port, flaunting conventions, offering a unique quality of comfort and a contemporary design. Awards inlcude:

  • 2014 WORLD YACHTS TROPHIES in the categories “Best Layout” and “Most Achieved;”
  • 2014 Nautic Design Award in Paris, France;
  • 2015 European Power Boat of the Year in Dusseldorf, Germany.

A COMPLETE LINE OF YACHTS, FROM 40 TO 75 FEET

As a market leader, PRESTIGE is continually renewing its product offer, offering two new models for 2016: the PRESTIGE 680 and the PRESTIGE 680 S.

These models are characterised by a harmonious interior with unparalleled attention to detail and the selection of materials for an exceptional fit and finish. They feature the novel concept of a raised forward owner’s cabin, and they offer an independent cabin with private access and bright natural lighting, with large windows in the deck and hull.

The PRESTIGE 680 was named Motor Boat of the Year 2016.

PRESTIGE consolidates its position on the highly competitive luxury powerboat market by offering a full, contemporary model range, both in terms of design and interior layouts.

The success of the PRESTIGE brand is the result of an audacious product development plan and an ambitious strategy to conquer international growth markets.

In 2017, PRESTIGE continues to develop its product offer, supported by an ever-expanding international network of marine professionals, with the launch of four major new models: the PRESTIGE 560, the PRESTIGE 560 S, the PRESTIGE 630 and the PRESTIGE 630 S.
